16 GSR’s Present

Jim opened meeting with Serenity Prayer.

Dave read Preamble, Tom read Tradition Nine, Steve C. read Concept Nine.

 

DCM REPORT: No DCM report available

TREASURERS REPORT: Jeanne not present.

 

ALKATHON: Steve noted we have already received donations for 130.00. Spartans Hall will notify us October 1st if room available for District 13 Alkathon.

 

BRIDGING THE GAP: Still Vacant                   CORRECTIONS: Eric not present

 

FUNCTION COMMITTEE: Eva stated the function on September 13th went well with approx. 50 people. Expenditures were 240.00 and they took in 119.00. The United Methodist Church on Arlington St. in Nashua is where the Nov 22nd. Area Inventory Convention will be held. Looking for volunteers to help set up. Still working on menu.

LCMS: None present                                          WEBMASTER: John not present.

 

NEWSLETTER: Andy thanked the GSR’s for getting the Newsletters out there.

 

PI/PIC: Tony stated nothing new to report.                 WEB: John not present.

 

REGISTRAR: Rocky not present.

 

TREATMENT: Nancy ordered 200.00 in literature to be given to West Campus Treatment Facility, this is a donation from th  District 13 Treatment budget.

 

OLD BUSINESS: Previously discussed Area Convention information with Function Chair.

 

NEW BUSINESS: Any discussion of “Back to Basics Groups” has been tabled.

Andy brought up poor attendance at this meeting. As a group we discussed ways of getting people involved. Suggestions were a” Want Ad” or “Bring a Friend Month” Jim will make calls to District Chairs who have not been present.
